Beef Fillet Chateaubriand is fillet steak cut from the hindquarter. this end of the fillet muscle sits inside of the animal under the rump bone and is little used hence its tenderness. The Beef Fillet Chateaubriand weighs 300g-500g and is an ideal piece of meat for Beef Wellington or a sharing steak. It is also known as Rump Fillet or Chateau de Boeuf & will feeds 2-4 persons.
