Gribbles Delicatessen Opening Mon 14th May next to their Butchers Shop in Fore Street Ivybridge

Mark Gribble, a tenth-generation Devonian who is proud of his roots and the owner of Gribble’s Butchers, a well-established and friendly shop in the centre of Ivybridge is expanding further in the town with the opening of Gribble’s Delicatessen at 15/16 Fore Street.
The opening ceremony will be at 10am on 14th May with Dennis Pearce cutting the ribbon. Dennis, well known and respected in Ivybridge, is the former proprietor of the butcher’s shop which will now become Gribble’s Delicatessen.
Based firmly on the company ethos of sourcing West Country produce, supporting the local community and economy, Gribble’s Delicatessen will offer their own produced pies, pasties, scotch eggs, sausage rolls and cooked meats together with a full range of locally sourced cheeses, ice cream and dairy products, preserves, chutneys, sauces, drinks, bread and pastries.
A selection of top quality, traceable meat from Gribble’s Butchers will be available in the delicatessen alongside fish sourced daily from the Looe Harbour dayboats. This will be supplemented with a choice of prepared meals, cooked in-house by highly rated chef, Dan Lewis.
