A New Year’s message from Craig and Maria at Plympton
Craig and Maria at Gribble’s Plympton would like to wish all of their customers a great 2012 and thank them for their continued support over the last 12 months.
Christmas at Plympton this year was busier than ever,
and the nearly 600 orders we took was a shop record!
Having that many orders in only a small shop took a lot of planning and preparation. Maria did a fantastic job of taking most of the orders, entering them onto the computer and then filing them ready for collection – most of which was done at night once the children had gone to bed!!
Although we had more orders this year, customer waiting times were shorter than last year, thanks to the two chaps holding the fort at ‘front of house’. Mark Gribble and Roy Docking did a terrific job for us and kept everyone amused at the same time, so a big thank you to both of them (and for putting up with me!!)
A big thank you must go to the front row of the Exeter Chiefs rugby team as well, who came down on Christmas Eve to hand out sweets and chat to people in the queue.
So once again a great big thank you to everyone who placed a Christmas order with us, and thanks for all of the lovely cards and comments we received. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2012 and hope we have another busy year.
